Shelby County Animal Shelter Lost and Found
  • If you have lost a pet please call the Shelter at 937.498.7201 to report.
  • If after hours please leave your name & phone number. You are advised to call the Shelter the next morning to make sure they received all the pertinent info needed.
  • If you have found a lost pet, please call the Shelter at
    937-498-7201 to give them the pertinent info in case the owner calls in.
  • All dogs that are brought in without a license will be held for 72 hours or three working business days before the dog is made available for adoption.
  • An owned dog with a license will be held for 15 days and the owner will be sent a registered letter before the dog is made available for adoption.

You may also report the information on the lost or found dog and it will be posted on SCARF’s Facebook page as a courtesy.

To have this posted please complete the following information and be sure to include a recent photo of the dog.
